Industrial Engineering (Undergraduate)

Department: Mechanical Engineering
Duration: 4 Years

About the Program

The Industrial Engineering Undergraduate Program is an interdisciplinary engineering field that focuses on the efficient management and improvement of systems, processes, and organizations. Graduates of the program earn the title of “Industrial Engineer”.

Industrial engineers:

  • Provide information support for management and decision-making processes using scientific methods.
  • Optimize processes in production, services, logistics, and energy sectors.
  • Gain the skills and knowledge necessary to compete in national and international job markets.

Our graduates can pursue careers in public, commercial, service, design, industrial, healthcare, and military sectors. The program also focuses on key modern topics such as occupational safety, engineering management, and environmental management.
Technical site visits, project studies, and international conferences provide students with opportunities to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice.

Education Opportunities

The Industrial Engineering Program is designed with a balanced combination of theoretical and practical courses.

Students gain expertise in:

  • Computer science, basic engineering, management sciences, statistics, and probability.
  • Developing modern communication skills to effectively manage engineering projects.
  • Applying theoretical knowledge through course projects, graduation projects, and mandatory summer internships.
  • Conducting research and experiments in the ergonomics laboratory, work-study, and human factors analysis.

With these competencies, our graduates acquire the ability to develop efficient, effective, and high-quality processes in manufacturing and service sectors.

Career Areas

Industrial Engineers have diverse career opportunities in production and management processes.

Graduates can work in:

  • Production planning and process management
  • Cost analysis and optimization
  • Inventory control and order management
  • Efficiency enhancement and business process improvement
  • Supply chain and logistics management
  • Quality management and project management

Industrial Engineers can work in production areas or management offices, developing strategies to improve employee productivity and optimize processes. Today, industries such as automotive, logistics, energy, healthcare, and defense have a high demand for industrial engineers.
